On Wednesday, March 9th, about 30 people gathered to tour various reuse organizations around Portland. Education Committee and AOR Member Adam Gorske attended, and has provided a summary of the day's activities.

As a valuable community partner of Washington State Recycling Association (WSRA)'s 2016 Conference & Trade Show, the Association of Oregon Recyclers invites you to join WSRA May 15-18, 2016 at the Wenatchee Convention Center in Wenatchee, WA.

On March 2, 2016, Ardenwald Elementary School was presented with 500 tickets to see Marvel Universe LIVE!  at the Moda Center.

Metro held its first stakeholder meeting on product stewardship for HHW on January 25th. The meeting covered the challenges of HHW, defined extended producer responsibility and outlined how it could be used for HHW.

The meeting also covered Metro’s Approach to EPR for HHW and provided an in-depth overview of Oregon Bill HB 3251-1 as well as a facilitated discussion covering the scope of covered products, program financing, and program performance.

​WSRA's 36th Annual Conference and Trade Show will be held May 15th - 18th at the Wenatchee Convention Center.

The conference will follow four tracks: education, markets, operations, and policy and will feature great networking opportunities and fun.
