The 50/50 Raffle is Back!
Last year's 50/50 raffle was so much fun, we're bringing it back to this year's conference!
Each ticket is $20, and one lucky winner will take home half of the proceeds of the raffle. The more tickets that are sold, the bigger the pot grows!

Recycler of the Year Awards Breakfast
This year, the Recycler of the Year awards will be presented during a banquet breakfast sponsored by EFI on Friday, June 10th at the Sustainable Oregon conference.
During the breakfast, winners will give brief presentations about their award winning work.
The awards breakfast is included with full conference registration, or you can register to attend just Friday.

Scrap commodity prices took a nice step forward this month. Almost every grade moved up, especially mixed paper.
There is some speculation in the scrap industry that the coming holidays (Memorial and Fourth of July) are increasing demand, and the harsh weather in Texas and Oklahoma has limited domestic supply.
Reuse, Repair and Product Lifespan Extension Project Meeting
Please join Oregon DEQ for a project update and engagement session for the Reuse, Repair and Product Lifespan Extension project. At this meeting, participants will be asked to assess 11 options DEQ has identified as potential projects or activities that can reduce environmental impacts through extending the lifespan of products via repair or reuse, including support for Oregon’s repair and reuse industries.
