EPA will host a webinar on August 13, 2020 at 1:30 Eastern Time that will highlight the results of a project funded by U.S. EPA Region 5 for Michigan Tech University to identify EPP policies and other opportunities to increase the reuse of recovered plastics. Attendees will hear about EPP from speakers from Michigan Tech University about the Environmentally Preferable Purchasing: Potential for Increasing Recycle of Plastics and Lithium Batteries in EPA Region 5 report and its findings, as well as leaders in procurement from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and the California Department of General Services.
