Jon Cozens is the President - North America for Mura Technology, one of the leading developers of technology and projects that can recycle waste plastics into usable hydrocarbons at industrial scale. Mura's HydroPRS process employs supercritical water, heat and pressure to break down long-chain hydrocarbons into stable hydrocarbon feedstocks similar to virgin petrochemicals, which can be directly used in the production of new plastics and other materials, offering a recycling solution for all plastic types.
Jon is also the President of Mura Cascade ELP, a project in Snohomish County, Washington, which will reliably recycle approximately 130,000 tons per year of waste plastics in its first phase, primarily films and other plastic materials which are currently disposed of. Cascade is developed in partnership with DTG Recycle, which will source and supply 100% of the waste plastics through DTG's extensive operations in the Pacific Northwest.
