Webinar: How Environmental Toxicity, Inequity and Capitalism Affect Reproductive Health

The Center for Biological Diversity is partnering with Nurses for Sexual and Reproductive Health on a webinar about how toxic chemicals and climate change impede reproductive justice and solutions to advance reproductive and environmental health.

The webinar will unveil a new report written by the Center called "The Influence of Environmental Toxicity, Inequity and Capitalism on Reproductive Health". The report describes the reproductive harm caused by fossil fuel extraction, plastic products, industrial agriculture, and climate change. The webinar will discuss these topics along with case studies and solutions.

It will feature a discussion and Q&A with Center staff members Nate Donley, John Fleming and Victoria Bogdan Tejeda and Anna Brown with Nurses for Sexual and Reproductive Health. It will be moderated by Kelley Dennings and Allison Grossman, co-authors of the Center’s report on the topic.

Join us on Thursday, Sept. 8 at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET for an informative and engaging panel discussion.

This free event will be recorded and the recording will include translations and closed captions. A certificate will be provided to attendees to allow for submission to continuing education certification programs.
