PSI Carpet Recycling Symposium

A recent surge of interest among U.S. governments in extended producer responsibility legislation for carpet has led to the introduction of four bills across the country this year. At the same time, recent developments in technology and markets are fueling expanded opportunities for carpet recycling.

In this two-part web symposium, carpet policy experts, U.S. carpet recyclers, and manufacturers using recycled carpet polymers will share information about cutting edge policy development, advanced recycling technologies, and new markets that are making it possible to put recycled carpet polymers back into carpet, textiles, packaging, and building products. Our speakers will also address the many benefits of carpet recycling, including greenhouse gas reductions, toxics reduction, job creation, and economic growth.
