Nominate a Green Person or Business!

Nominate a person or business for a Green Award and raise awareness about sustainable people and practices!

The Straub Environmental Center is seeking nominations for the Eighth Annual Mid-Valley Green Awards. Nominations are being sought for individuals, businesses, and organizations located in Marion or Polk Counties. 

Nomination category descriptions and forms may be found on the awards website.

The 2017 Green Award categories are:

• Recycler of The Year
• Sustainable Business of the Year
• EarthWISE Business of the Year (Must receive EarthWISE certification by January 2, 2017)
• Green Product/Service of the Year
• People’s Choice Award

Nominations must be received no later than midnight January 17, 2017, to be eligible for consideration.

The 2016 Mid-Valley Green Award recipients will be honored at an awards presentation on Saturday, March 11, at 6:00 pm in the Spinning Room at the Willamette Heritage Center in Salem.
