Dear members of the Association of Oregon Recyclers,

My name is Zoe and I just recently became a location for the Natural Care and Personal/Beauty Care recycling program with Terracycle (https://www.terracycle.com)

I signed up for these campaigns because I noticed how much waste I was creating with my personal care routine and it really distressed me. Though I originally signed up for my own waste, I want to give others the opportunity to recycle their trash from their personal care habit.

I'm reaching out to all of you to see if the anyone would like to collaborate and host some sort of recycling fundraiser event - or even a monthly event as most people haven’t been collecting their personal care packaging waiting for it to be recycled. The money raised ($.02 for every item collected according to TerraCycle) will go to the Oregon Humane Society.  

I'd take care of picking up the collection bins and shipping it off. I can also help with creating collection bins and provide necessary information. The only thing you would need to do is get the word out and host the event! I’m looking for interested parties in the greater Portland Metro Area, so if you live in the area, want to reduce your waste stream, and give to an awesome organization, please let me know!
