A former church that’s been converted into condos but retained the soaring beams… an exquisite garden gate made with upcycled sheet metal “skeletons”… the now-completed tiny homes at Emerald Village Eugene… those are just a few of the things you’ll see at this year’s BRING Home & Garden Tour, which is co-hosted by EWEB and the City of Eugene and sponsored by Mountain Rose Herbs, on Sunday, September 9. Buy your tickets today and save.
Advance tickets are $10 per person. The day of the tour they increase to $14 per person, so it’s a good idea to buy now and save yourself some money. Tickets can be purchased on the BRING website or at one of the following locations:
Youth 16 and under are allowed free admission when accompanied by a ticketed adult. For more details about how you will receive your tickets (or whether you need to pick them up), please visit our website.
The theme for this year’s Home & Garden Tour is Building Community. It reflects BRING’s twin goals of nurturing the creative builders who patronize our reuse store, and supporting the citizens who believe that building simple, creative lives and communities leads to greater happiness and health. That’s why we’re also featuring a number of community-focused projects on this year’s tour, including the ToolBox Project, which loans out home and garden tools so people don’t have to buy them, and the OSU Extension Service in Lane County, which helps individuals learn about gardening, composting, food preservation and other important skills.
Your ticket also gains you entry into the Home & Garden Tour Afterparty at Hummingbird Wholesale's Mahonia Building, Eugene’s first straw bale commercial site. At this informal gathering from 3 to 6 p.m. you can discuss your favorite sites with friends and community members and enjoy food and drinks. You can also test drive an electric car and learn about incentives that make them more affordable as part of National Drive Electric Week thanks to partners EWEB, Forth and the Lane Regional Air Pollution Agency (LRAPA).
See you Sunday, September 9. Don’t forget to buy your tickets today!
