Plastic recycling is complicated and requires many factors to be successful. This presentation will answer two main questions related to successful plastics recycling: Why does quality matter, and how to collect for quality? The discussion will include market drivers and influences, historical pricing, current market conditions and industry-based education and outreach efforts to address quality starting at the curbside bin through end users related to both film and rigid plastic packaging.
