WSRA Seeks Session Proposals for 2019 Conference in Spokane, WA
Proposal deadline is Friday, October 12, 2018
The Washington State Recycling Association (WSRA), a nonprofit trade association representing the state’s diverse recycling industry, is now seeking session proposals for their 39th Annual Conference & Trade Show taking place at the Doubletree City Center in Spokane, WA, April 28 - May 1, 2019. This year’s conference is expected to attract more than 200 recycling and waste industry professionals throughout the Pacific Northwest.
WSRA’s conference provides stakeholders in Washington’s recycling and waste prevention community with the knowledge and resources to address current challenges in the recycling industry, implement and improve recycling programs, advocate for policies and initiatives that advance recycling and waste prevention, and support the development of a generation of professionals for whom sustainability is a core tenet of their work and life philosophy.
The Association is seeking enthusiastic and dynamic presenters that can share ideas and innovations in the recycling, waste reduction, and resource and materials management industry. Breakout sessions that are interactive, inspiring, informative, and memorable are encouraged.
The 2019 Request for Proposals Packet summarizes suggested session themes and topics and outlines guidelines and criteria. Proposals will be evaluated based on their overall alignment with this year’s conference theme and vision and provide new and innovative content for attendees. If you can craft an hour-long session that will actively engage participants, deliver a solid message about a key issue facing the industry, and send attendees away with identifiable lessons learned, then WSRA invites you to submit your proposal!
Please submit your Session Proposal Form by Friday, October 12, 2018 at 5:00 PM PDT to be considered. All submissions will receive an email confirming receipt of the proposal. Complete proposals will be given priority.
