Welcome New AOR Member: Molly Haydon
What is your name? Molly Haydon
Where do you work and what do you do? I am a small business owner. I have a company called “Lifestyle Check-up” and I teach a 6 class course based in an Ayurvedic health system to help get people to a balanced state. I focus on the six pillars of health: movement, nutrition, mindfulness, grounded emotions, self-care and sleep.
Tell us how you enbrace recycling/sustainability into your home or workplace? Everything I am, and teach, is about our inter connectedness with Mother Nature. Our commitment is to protect. I am a vegan so I don’t contribute to the mass environmental damage from the animal industry. I work 4 blocks from my house so rarely use my car. We recycle everything and eat naturally so less plastics.
What motivates you to recycle and live sustainably? Because we are going in the wrong direction and by caring so much you have the possibility of influencing others.
If you were an animal, which one would you be and why? A bear or a lion, I just love their size.
How did you learn about AOR? Through the master recycler program.
