Welcome New AOR Member Catherine Chertudi!

18 Oct 2019

What is your name? Catherine Chertudi

Where do you work and what do you do? Consultant for water and waste issues after retiring from the city of Boise, Idaho

Tell us how you embrace recycling/sustainability into your home or workplace? As an environmental professional I practice what I have promoted and developed through more than 35 years working in Idaho. Water conservative landscaping at my home, recycling, composting and waste reduction practices are part of my daily life. We also have an energy efficient home.

What motivates you to recycle and live sustainably? We have one life and one planet and we have an impact as humans that can be detrimental to both ourselves, neighbors and planet so making a difference and being mindful are part of what we believe and how we live.

If you were an animal, which one would you be and why? This is easy - a river otter! They work hard and play hard.

How did you learn about AOR? I have followed your organization for a number of years - you help set the bar for the Pacific Northwest!
