Did you know recycling can help support AOR? With BottleDrop, you can donate your redemption earnings from recycling bottles and cans to AOR in two ways:

1. Transfer funds from your BottleDrop account to AOR’s account

   If you already have an account with BottleDrop, transferring your deposits to AOR is easy!  Simply visit the BottleDrop website to activate your online account. You will need your BottleDrop account number (found on the back of your BottleDrop card), email address, your BottleDrop PIN number, the last name on the account, and the number from one of the bag tags that was printed for you. Once completed, you can login, select “Donate to a Fundraiser” on your account tabs, select the AOR Fundraising Page, and enter the amount of money you would like to transfer to our account.

   If you don’t have a BottleDrop account, you can sign up for an account at any BottleDrop location, and then follow the steps above to donate your deposits to AOR.

2. Use AOR’s BottleDrop bags to collect bottles and cans

If you don’t want to set up your own Bottle Drop account, you can simply use blue bags provided by AOR that have been pre-labeled with AOR’s account information. After filling up your bags with cans and bottles, drop them off at any BottleDrop Center. The labels on the bags will allow you to open the outside drop doors from 6am – 10pm. Please contact Amy Roth, AOR's Resource Director, to get blue bags.

Remember, the redemption value of your bottle or can is going up to $0.10 in April, so your collective contribution will make a big difference for AOR’s fundraising. Funds raised help support our scholarship program and increase AOR's bandwidth to rural parts of the state.
