This year’s conference will once again feature a silent auction to raise funds to support scholarships for Sustainable Oregon 2016 and other AOR activities. Scholarships are awarded to individuals that are interested in beginning their career in the field of recycling and waste prevention but could not otherwise afford to attend the conference. Last year, our silent auction raised over $2,400 for scholarships to this year’s conference! 

Some must-have items up for grabs at this year’s auction include:

• Pasta dinner and wine for six hosted by the famous Mr. Lee Barrett
• Art made with reclaimed materials
• Backyard composting gear
• Zero waste swag
• Gift cards and coupons to your favorite reuse stores

Bring your wallets and get ready to get bidding — you won’t want to miss out on these and other amazing items.

We are still looking for donations for the auction! If you have something that you no longer want, but know someone else might love, we want it for the auction! Think about regifting gently used items or things such as weekend getaways, tickets to sporting events, vacation homes, timeshares, as well as services or gift certificates.
