Paint Stewardship: the Nuts and Bolts

What’s on the horizon for paint stewardship? In the last seven years, eight states and the District of Columbia have successfully passed paint stewardship legislation, creating an industry-run program for managing the reuse, recycling, and safe disposal of leftover paint. The American Coatings American Coatings Association, PaintCare, PSI and other stakeholders are working tirelessly to pass similar legislation in states across the country while implementing the programs currently in place.
