Packaging brand owners from Europe, Canada, and the United States will share their perspectives on packaging EPR systems that represent different stages in the evolution of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) across the globe.

Three EPR experts will discuss how EPR for packaging can drive a circular economy, change packaging design, foster reuse and source reduction, and combat climate change, all while supporting thriving, competitive markets.

They will address the challenges and opportunities brand owners face in implementing EPR systems and how their views on EPR have evolved over time. They will also discuss whether EPR systems increase consumer product prices, enhance recycling markets, create recycling jobs, and reduce litter.
