- What it means to center people, culture, and place in your work
- Current initiatives to address food justice, increase access to mental health services, support the development of small business, and prepare homes for a changing climate
- How our panelist’s initiatives are promoting resilience in our community
- Ways you can empower local leaders, get involved, and amplify their work

Opening remarks
o Carolina Martins, Program Coordinator in Washington County’s Office of Sustainability, and Adrienne Chaille, Senior Program Coordinator of Economic Development Programs at Washington County will open the event with brief comments on World Day of Social Justice, and Washington County’s own approach to building strong community partnerships for economic development.
o Odalis Aguilera, Green Business Food Waste Advisor, Washington County Health and Human Services will moderate conversation and Q&A with panelists
