In what University/College are you currently enrolled, or if an Americorps Volunteer, where are you working/volunteering? Banks High School

Tell us about your major or current career path. I am planning on going to college to become an engineer and work in the Department of Defense. I have many diverse interests outside of career and one of such is volunteering.

Are there any particular segments of the recycling/materials management industry that you would like to work in? I am currently in National Honor Society (NHS) for my school, and for my senior project I want to help my community with recycling. I live in an apartment complex where the trash area is constantly a mess: things that shouldn't be recycled are, and things that should aren't. I want to put up more clear signage and help our area be more sustainable.

What motivates you to recycle and live sustainably? It's not really that difficult to do, and yet it gives me a sense of ownership in maintaining this beautiful planet that myself and loved ones will live on.

If you were an animal, which one would you be and why? My Harry Potter patronus test told me I was a black swan, which is nice because it's full of depth and floats on water, which I find very comforting and tranquil.
