We want to thank all our members who attended our first virtual 2020 Sustainable Oregon Conference, and who tuned into the AOR 2021 Legislative Preview on January 19th, 2021. Your support and attendance ensures AOR maintains its standing as the most important voice in recycling in Oregon. The 2021 legislation is perhaps the most significant session for the recycling industry that we have seen in decades. We are prioritizing guiding principles of our organization to reflect equity, community partnerships and community restoration, while also using our collective voice to harness environmental policies that make recycling more convenient and accessible to everyone in Oregon. We need your support.

AOR’s success in Salem relies on financial contributions from long-time advocates and friends, and we know you all love the silent auction at the conference. Without our in person annual conference and silent auction, we find ourselves thinking outside the box. This year AOR and Oregon small businesses need your support more than ever. For this reason, we are hosting our first virtual AOR Silent Auction, Wednesday, April 21st, 2021 on the eve of Earth Day. Here’s how you can help!

1. Donate. AOR is looking for items to auction off. No item is too small or too large. Local restaurants, retail, artists all need our support. Contribute craft beer, wine, recipe book, safe experiences (i.e., beach house or rental vacation homes). We are specifically looking for gift cards that can be mailed.
