AOR's Education and Membership Chairs are seeking volunteers for their committees!

Education Committee Volunteers

Gregg Hayward, R101's Education Chair is looking for 2 volunteers to help with the following projects:

1. Take Recycling 101 for free! While this person is taking the course, they will create a spreadsheet that has all of the links from the course in it, the slide they are on, and an identifier of where that link is on the slide. That way we can simply click on all the links in the spreadsheet to identify and fix and broken links easily. Time commitment 1-2 additional hours while taking the R101 course, which takes most users 8-15 hours complete. Deadline: Open until filled.

2. Recycling 101 Promotion: We’d like to do another partner promotion of the course this fall once the summer update is complete. You’ll assist Gregg in reaching out to our regional contacts and asking them to promote it in their newsletters, e-news etc. using our marketing toolkit, email them the resources they need and track our outreach in a shared spreadsheet. Time commitment: 8 hours Deadline: Open until filled.

Membership Committee Volunteers

Jennifer Stefanick, AOR's membership chair is looking for volunteers to work together to support and build on a recruitment and retention plan with a focus on increasing diversity within AOR's membership! Meetings will take place in-person quarterly (if members are Portland area located) and every month via zoom. Deadline: November 1, 2019. People that are intersted can email Jennifer.
