Our exhibit hall showcases state and regional recycling businesses that have something to offer everyone. The exhibit hall is always the hub of conference networking activity, and is not to miss. Recycler of the Year Awards

Each year, the Association of Oregon Recyclers selects individuals and organizations who have distinguished themselves by their exceptional contributions to recycling and waste prevention efforts in the Northwest to receive Recycler of the Year awards. Nominations will be accepted through May 13, 2016.


Board Elections

The Association of Oregon Recyclers’ election of officers will be held during the annual meeting at the conference.

Silent Auction

AOR is now accepting items for the annual Silent Auction. All proceeds raised will be used to support AOR programs and scholarships for AOR events.

Conference Scholarships

AOR intends to award up to 10 scholarships to cover the registration fees to its annual conference, which will be held at the DoubleTree Hotel in Portland, OR on June 8-10. Additional expenses, such as tours, after-conference activities, travel, and lodging are the responsibility of the recipient. 

This is a weighted application process with the intention of equity and diversity. We welcome applications from anyone demonstrating a need in order to attend the conference. However, in an effort to foster a diverse audience, we strongly encourage Master Recyclers, students, recycling/sustainability staff working in small/rural communities, as well as drivers, handlers, operators, customer service agents, and sales operatives within member organizations to apply.

Recipients of a Sustainable Oregon Conference Scholarship are required to participate in the pre-conference packet stuffing party a few days before the conference or work at the registration desk during the event, as well as other volunteer duties at the conference.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: MAY 6TH. Recipients will be notified no later than May 13, 2016
