Get Involved with AOR!

15 Mar 2017

AOR's biggest challenge is to make sure we’re providing collaborative and substantive learning opportunities to members. In order to do that we need support through memberships, sponsorships and event attendance.

Another way to support AOR is to become involved in one of our committees. Committee members connect with all facets of our membership, and is a great way to tap into industry happenings. We have several committees where you can volunteer, all covering different aspects of our organization.

  • Events Committee: Help AOR create agendas for forums, tours and trainings for AOR members. Contact Pam Peck.
  • Membership Committee: Reach out to AOR members to assess needs and make sure they are connected to AOR with the correct contact information and ensure our directory is up-to-date. Contact Josy Wright.
  • Fundraising Committee: Help AOR find creative ways to find additional funding to provide more services to members. Contact Nick Isbister.
  • Recycling 101: Promote the online course Recycle 101 and help update content annually. Contact Pete Chism-Winfield.
  • Conference Committee:.Develop and promote the 2018 AOR annual conference in Eugene, Oregon. Contact Liz Start.

Committees are always welcoming new members, so contact one of the committee chairs today to get started!
