AOR Welcomes New Regional Liaisons

10 Aug 2015

At this year's Sustainable Oregon Conference in Bend, Oregon, it was announced that AOR was looking for members to serve as "regional liaisons" to serve as a conduit between AOR and regions outside the I5 corridor from Portland to Eugene.

The goal of the liaisons is to keep the region represented and informed of AOR activities and to cultivate opportunities to collaborate.

Four members committed to serving in these new roles: Susan Baker of Bend Garbage representing the Cascades Region; David Skakel of the Tri-County Hazardous Waste and Recycling representing the Gorge Region; and Laura Leebrick of Rogue Disposal and Recycling, and Risa Buck of Recology Ashland both representing the Southern Region.

We are still looking for Coastal representation, as well as someone for the Eastern part of the state. If you are interested in serving as a regional liaison for AOR, please contact Pete Chism, AOR's membership chair for more information, or contact Amy at the AOR office.

Please welcome these amazing AOR members in this new role!
